Viem is looking for a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dunkeld West. If you have a passion for cost management, value engineering and delivering quality projects, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Measure quantities and analyse tender documents
- Monitor and control project costs and variations
- Prepare interim and final valuations
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors on commercial matters
- Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in quantity surveying (NQF level 6 or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of onsite experience
- Experience drafting method statements and pricing BOQs for tender documents
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, CostX and CCS
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- A valid driver's licence will be advantageous
